Get Rid of Oily, Shiny Skin with Murad’s Oil-Control Mattifier
2 comments

One of my biggest insecurities about my skin is my shiny, oily forehead. Sadly, I find that there is little I can do to reduce the size of my pores so I may be stuck with oily skin for the rest of my life. (I even carry Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets, $5.29 at drugstore.com or at any grocery store, around in my purse on a day-to-day basis. They are a fabulous quick fix, but have the tendency to remove your foundation and only provide short-term relief from shine.)
But, when I stumbled across a product that promised to “protect skin while providing all day oil control,” I was eager to give it a try.
Murad’s Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 promises to “eliminate shine on contact” and “reduce excess oil by up to 78% for 8 hours.” Although skeptical, I gave it a whirl.
I highly recommend this product because of it’s staying power, versatility, and of course, how well it works. Not only did it eliminate shine on my forehead for most of the day, but it works as a wonderful primer for makeup, and provides UVA/UVB protection.
I noticed a huge difference in my skin’s appearence and feel immediatly after I began using this product. It has become a staple in my morning routine.
Oily skin, although a pain in the ass, can be overcome. If I can do it, you can too!
