5 Under $50 (Shoe Edition)

I’m totally a shoe girl. And yes, I appreciate a good designer pair as much as the next girl (okay – probably even more than the next girl!)

Buuuuut, over the past few months I’ve been saving up for Christmas/Hanukah gifts, Puppy’s neutering (which turned into a tremendously expensive fiasco) and my Israel trip (did I mention I was going to Israel? More on that later.)

So unfortunately, a nice pair of Louboutins are not in the budget this year. But I’m okay with that. Even though I’m not splurging on anything soon – I’m still a total sucker for a good deal. Especially when it comes to fashion.

So between you and me, here are five fabulous pairs of shoes that totally don’t look like they’re under $50 – but they are…

1. Old Navy Faux-Snakeskin Flats ($26.94)

2. River Island Animal Print Chain Detail Flats (On sale for $38.19 – originally $54.54)

3. Payless Brash Women’s Konstant Block Heel Pump ($36.99) < -- Selling out online fast!

4. ASOS LEIGH Patent T-Bar Ballet Shoes ($45.45)

5. Urban Outfitters Suede Pump (On sale for $39 – originally $49)

Because the only thing that makes a girl happier than a new pair of shoes is a DEAL on a new pair of shoes! Am I right, or am I right?

Loving that Old Navy pair. Is it just me or has Old Navy stepped up their game in the last few months??

I love those t-strap flats. ASOS has such cute stuff!

I love the website and your posts! I’m a new user and I was wondering if you could make a post about taking care of your clothes? Like hand-washing or any other things you do so you don’t ruin your clothes. Thanks!!

Hey Sarah, do you know anything about Clarisonic cleansers? I’m debating on whether to invest in one, or just go with one of the cheaper versions like the Olay face brush (http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod3000319)
Also, what is the difference between the original and the Mia? I thought you might be a good person to ask…

@Courtney – I do! I’ve had both the regular and the Mia. My understanding is that the regular is just a larger version of the Mia (which is marketed as the travel version). I use the Mia now. I’d get the Mia because it’s less expensive and essentially the same thing.

Personally – I think stuff like this is great to keep in your shower. I just use mine once a day as opposed to the suggested twice.

I’ve also had a really cheap version from Neutragena that I thought worked just fine. I think Proactive came out with one too. Everyone else seems to swear by the Clarisonic so I may be in the minority here in saying that I don’t think it makes much of a difference which you buy. I think Clarisonic had just done a really good job branding itself.

I hope this helps!

I’m going to Israel in March. I’ve been almost every year since I was born! it’s amazing. you’ll love it!
