Lovely Michael Aram
1 commentYou may remember back when we first moved in to our new place that I did a post about our bathroom countertop. I showed you how I lay out products on my counter and asked how you stay organized (because it has always been a challenge for me!) Since then, I’ve seen countless photos that inspire me (most recently in this post from Cupcakes and Cashmere) to bring a more uniform and glamourous look to my bathroom aesthetic. I couldn’t have asked for better pieces to do this than those from world-renowned artist Michael Aram.
In celebration of the New Molton Collection, the folks over at Michael Aram were kind enough to send over some beautiful stainless steal dishes for me to display my pretty little things. As you can see, I’ve already made good use of them – using the Nut Dish to hold my rings and earrings at the end of a night out (it sits beautifully on my bathroom counter now!); the Long Snack Dish to display my perfumes (also now on my counter); and the Mini Snack Dishes to serve up some of my favorite sweets in our kitchen.
So if you’re looking for some pretty ways to display your jewelry, makeup, perfume (or food!) then I highly recommend you check out some of Michael Aram’s beautiful, handmade pieces. In the month of June 2012, Michael Aram is running a promotion that offers customers a free gift with purchase when they spend $150 or more at michaelaram.com – so this month is a good one for making purchases.
On an unrelated note, I’m off to San Diego on Thursday to spend a long weekend in the heat (crossing my fingers for sun!) with some girlfriends. If anybody has any recommendations for some fun things to do or places to visit to while we’re there, feel free to send them my way! During the four days I’m in California, I may not be able to get a post out on the blog but I’ll be keeping my Twitter and Instagram (@Sarah_Helfgott) updated so that you can follow along and see what we’re up to on our trip, if that interests you.

Disclosure: I was given Michael Aram products free of charge but the comments and opinions expressed in this post are my own.

These really are lovely! To use kitchen display trays in your bathroom is a great idea!
