Portland ranked best city for your skin! How does your city rank?

According to Daily Glow, location may be as crucial for your skin’s health as it is when considering your next real estate purchase. Various factors about where you live may largely affect your risk for skin cancer and other sometimes life-threatening skin conditions. Daily Glow took it upon themselves to give a ranking to the largest 50 cities in the country to determine where each city falls in terms of skin safety. I was thrilled to find that my own city, Portland, Oregon, was ranked number one as the best city in the country for your skin! The rankings were determined based on factors such as dermatologists per capita, skin cancer rates, climate data, and more. Of course, even those of us living in Portland still need to remember to slather ourselves with sunscreen… But it’s always nice to see the city recognized as more than just the birth place for Voodoo Doughnuts!
