Sarah Helfgott

Hello there! My name is Sarah and I’m the voice behind Confessions of a Product Junkie (CPJ).

Since it’s inception in 2009, CPJ has been on a mission to help women discover products and gain the know-how to enhance their personal style and make them feel as beautiful as they look.

You already have a beautiful and unique personal style; one I’d never want you to lose. But as I’m always trying to do with mine, I’d like to help you enhance it and become the best version of yourself. Though my blog I’d like to think I help my readers develop their tastes when it comes to fashion. And at the same time, I believe in risks and stepping outside of your comfort zone once in a while with your style. Usually, the risk is worth the reward.

I hope I inspire you to wear something you never thought you would in a million years. To shop smarter. To style yourself with ease. And over all, to feel more beautiful and confident.

And along the way, because this is my personal blog too, I’d like you to get to know me a little bit better.

Sound like a plan? Great! I hope you stay a while…

About Me

Some things you probably don’t know about me:

  1. I’m trend inspired, but not dictated
  2. I’m a sucker for a good sale
  3. I’m an Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian
  4. Blogging isn’t my day job – by day I’m a product manager at an education software company
  5. I went to college for public relations and spent six months working in PR after graduation before I ended up at my current company
  6. I was a Chi Omega at the University of Oregon
  7. I can hula hoop like no one’s business
  8. I took the most incredible trip of my life last winter – I went to Israel on Birthright (if you’re Jewish and you haven’t done this yet, you MUST! Contact me and ask me about it.)
  9. I’m not-so-secretly drawn to anything sparkly, metallic, and pink. I’ve accidentally bought some pretty stupid stuff because of this addiction
  10. I live with my amazing boyfriend Carter and our adorable black pug puppy Winston
  11. I’ve tried over 50 different different kinds of mascara
  12. I despise the taste of hard liquor and would take an Oregon microbrew over a martini any day of the week!

I came across your blog randomly and I can tell that I am going to get addicted to it. You have amazing style. And you're from Oregon! Yay! I live in Central Oregon but Portland is pretty much my home away from home.

Thanks for letting me subscribe to your blog. There are very few blogs I follow, but when i fell into yours from Pinterest, well, the name of your blog had me curious alone. I too am a “consumer” and love all the same things you do. It’s really more of an addiction. Thanks again, Becky

Thanks for your post about the best salons in Eugene, it was very helpful! If you know of any other good spots in Eugene feel free to blog about them since I am new to the area! Thanks again, Elizabeth (I am also a Chi Omega at the UO) :)

Thanks for applying some time to compose “About | The Confessions of a Product Junkie”.

Thank you so much once more -Philomena

I do believe all of the ideas you have introduced in your post.

They’re really convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too brief for newbies. May just you please prolong them a little from next time? Thanks for the post.
